Steel Frame Kit Assembly Manual & Sandwich Panel / Betopan BOM Calculator

Official 6-step bolt-together workshop assembly manual for our 72 Flat & Gable (A-Roof) steel frame kits, paired with an interactive 18-dimension cladding & floor board estimator.

6-STEP BOLT-TOGETHER SEQUENCE · ZERO WELDING REQUIRED

Workshop & On-Site Steel Frame Assembly Sequence (SC-ENG-05)

01–02 · BOTTOM CHASSIS + 16 mm BETOPAN L1 = L2 (±2 mm) · 1250×2500 mm Boards 03–04 · COLUMNS & TOP TRUSS (M12 8.8) 100% Bolted · Zero Field Welding 05–06 · 1000 mm PANELS & FLASHINGS 40–80 mm EPS / Rockwool / PIR Ready

STEP 01  Level Pad & Bottom Chassis Alignment

Place the bottom steel chassis on a ±0 mm laser-leveled concrete pad or workshop jig. Check diagonal squareness (L1 = L2 within ±2 mm) before tightening anchor points.

STEP 02  16 mm Non-Combustible Betopan Floor Decking

Lay 16 mm cement-bonded Betopan boards (1250 × 2500 mm standard sheets) across bottom cross-purlins and fasten with self-drilling countersunk screws every 250 mm.

STEP 03  Corner & Intermediate Column Bolting (M12)

Erect the 4 corner columns (plus 2–4 intermediate columns on ≥8 m frames). Fasten to bottom corner nodes using Grade 8.8 M12 galvanized bolts at ~50% snug torque initially.

STEP 04  Top Chassis / Gable A-Roof Truss Placement

Lower the top perimeter chassis (or pitched A-roof truss assembly + ridge purlins) onto column heads using an overhead crane or forklift spreader, then torque all M12 structural bolts to 100%.

STEP 05  1000 mm Modular Sandwich Panel Insertion

Slide 40–80 mm wall sandwich panels (1000 mm net coverage width; cut length 2580 mm Flat / 2480 mm Gable) into U-channels with neutral EPDM/polyurethane sealant at every tongue-and-groove joint.

STEP 06  Roof Cladding, Doors/Windows & Corner Flashings

Install roof sandwich panels (or galvanized roof sheet + 80–125 mm wool blanket), frame out 900×2000 mm doors & 990×1000 mm uPVC windows, and rivet exterior corner/drip flashings.

Frequently Asked Technical & Export Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for container frame kits and can we mix different models?

For 3×7 m container frame kits, the minimum order is 10 sets. For all other frame dimensions, the minimum order is 20 sets. Mixed orders are accepted: you can combine different dimensions, roof types (Flat Roof and Gable A-Roof), and surface finishes (Painted and Galvanized).

Is there a minimum order requirement for ready modular containers (SC-K, SC-MK, SC-GK, SC-IK)?

No. Ready modular containers (accommodation units, site offices, security cabins, and WC/shower sanitary containers) can be ordered starting from 1 unit up to multi-unit construction camp packages.

How many container frame kits or ready containers fit into a 13.6m Truck (TIR) or 40' HC Sea Container?

For bolt-together demountable frame kits (such as 2.4×6 m or 3×7 m), a single 13.6m flatbed/curtain-side truck or 40' HC container holds approximately 20 to 28 sets depending on total weight and roof geometry. For factory-assembled 3×7 m ready containers, 1 truck carries 2 monoblock units (or 4–6 compact guard/sanitary cabins); for multi-unit export projects shipped in flat-pack configuration, 1 truck or 40' HC carries 6 to 10 units.

What is the difference between Flat Roof and Gable (A) Roof frame kits?

Flat Roof frame kits have a 2,600 mm external height and standard chassis/roof purlin structure. Gable (A) Roof frame kits feature 2,500 mm vertical side walls and dual-pitched steel roof trusses reaching a 2,850 mm ridge height, designed for rapid rainwater/snow runoff and residential aesthetics.

Do you offer Rockwool or PIR insulation and A/C preparation for Middle East & Gulf projects?

Yes. While our standard ready containers feature EPS insulated wall panels, you can select the "Hot Climate & Camp Option" in our quote calculator to upgrade to fire-rated Rockwool or high-density PIR panels, reinforced roof insulation, and pre-wired split A/C provisions for Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and North Africa projects.

What is included in a container frame kit and what is excluded?

Each frame kit includes the bottom chassis perimeter beams, top roof perimeter frame, intermediate floor/roof purlins, 4 or 6 load-bearing corner columns, gable roof trusses/ridge beams (on A-roof models), lifting lugs, and the complete bolt/nut/washer fastener set. Wall panels, roof cladding sheets, floor boards, doors, windows, and site assembly are excluded from the frame-only kit.
